Hello,

Sometimes taking picture with flat situation is really boring to see, but making a photo from flat to high dynamic range is interesting. Off course you need one software to convert flat picture into HDR picture. Before making a HDR picture, you need at least 3 photos form different exposure ( many people are like also to make HDR from 5 -7 pictures ). For me, i just enough 3 photo from different exposure.

On 14.05.2011, me and my friend went to Basel to made some street photography, and unfortunately weather is not friendly, cloudy, windy and rainy. Because of the situation, then i decided to change my camera setting. Usually i always take picture with RAW format, but that time i change to JPEG and use bracketing. In my mind already set, i will made the HDR photo with this setting.

As bracketing, i put 3 different exposure with -0,5 EV compensation ( 0 EV, -0.5 EV and -1 EV ), as white balance i set preset with my expodisc white balance. After all prepared, then i fired my shutter all the time. Until spending some time in Basel then we diced to go to home.

When arrived at home, then i transferred all the pictures into my notebook, first time i want to see the original pictures before doing something. I selected some of them to be converted into HDR picture ( please see my photo technique links to see a link HDR Tutorial … ). I follow all the rule that i read from Internet to made a HDR photo ( with some modification according to my style ) , after finished them then i opened all with Nikon capture as final step.

I am really enjoy this work, if you like to see all my job, please click picture below. Any comment or suggestion are always welcome for me, as input also to improve my skills and knowledge.

Hello,

Last month i just realized that i almost forgot to use my Macro lens to made macro photography, and one of my friend just remaind me about this lens when he wants to test his new micro lens. After checking all my gear, and i still confuse which camera i should use.

Since i bought my new Nikon D700, my previous camera Nikon D200 almost forgotten, and always stay in my locker. After need time then i decided to use my Nikon D200 and also i have chance to test a magic Nikon Micro 200/F4 from my friend.

Last week then i started to take some macro photo, and my location is small garden near to apartment. First day and second day i attached the Nikon 200mm/F4 with my D200 just to see how great this lens. Since weather a little bit windy and off course most of the time inscest always moving then i use AFC mode. First problem is autofocus, this lens have slow focused and most of the picture out of focus, but if have correct focus then the result is amazing.

The other day then i grabbed again my Nikon D200 with my Nikon AFS 105/2.8 Micro, now i can see the diffrent of autofocus. Nikon AFS 105 is fast enough to take object even the object itself always moving. In opinon Nikon should deliver the replacement of Nikon Micro 200/F4, perhaps they should add AFS and VR system into new lens in future.

I just collect all my picture and put them all into my gallery and if you like to see all them, please click picture below
